Awesome Aunty Performance

Here is a music resource for teachers to use in their Primary School class.

Step 1) Break off students into three groups - Singers, Instrumentalists & dancers.

Step 2) Teach each group the following activities

Step 3) Put it to all together as a class performance.

During the Verse:

Group of singers perform : -

She loves to dance

She loves to move

She twirls around

She knows the groove

She’s super strong

Defends the wronged

She’s the one

She’s number one

Students clap or perform on percussion instruments a simple rhythm such as :

During the Chorus:

Singers:

Awesome Aunty

Is so lovely

A superhero of our own

When we're together,

There's adventure

With Super Aunty 

Here we go!

The percussionists perform the same rhythm during the Chorus

A suggestion: During Instrumental- All students stop playing and take 4 different superhero poses. Like POW, BAM etc..
